About this deal

I agree that it looks nothing like the color in the vintage ad - it actually looks a bit magenta on my screen. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag.

I’m often too scared to wear a full on red lipstick (although I can recommend several red lip butters also from Revlon here for a softer look) but this one seems more manageable. So I’ve been reading in all of my fashion magazines for years and years about the lipstick color “Cherries in the Snow” by Revlon.

I owned Cherries in the Snow and Fire and Ice but I didn't love them - they were too bright for my goth teen aesthetic. Essential Lipstick in Gypsy, Urban Decay Matte Revolution in After Dark, Revlon Balm Stain in Smitten, Wet N Wild Silk Finish Lipstick in Nouveau Pink, and Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Sour Cherry. It feels velvety smooth on your lips and delivers all the full, vibrant lip colour you can’t get enough of.

Diisopropyl Dimer Dilinoleate, Isononyl Isononanoate, Ozokerite, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Mica, Octyldodecyl Neopentanoate, Silica, Nylon-12, Kaolin, Cera Carnauba/Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax/Cire De Carnauba, Synthetic Wax, Cera Microcristallina/Microcrystalline Wax/Cire Microcristalline, Barium Sulfate, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Theobroma Grandiflorum Seed Butter, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Agave Rigida (Sisal) Extract, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Anemarrhena Asphodeloides Root Extract, Ethylene/Propylene Copolymer, Polyethylene, BHT, Phenoxyethanol . The item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unopened and unused with seals or original packaging if appropriate. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

I also owned Black Cherry (and my experience with it wasn't so bad - maybe it got shittier in the last ten years), Iced Amethyst (a weird frosty purple, dunno if it's still around), and Blackberry, the BEST deep red shade that I have been unsuccessfully trying to dupe since they removed it from the line sometime in like 2011. When the Revson brothers first invented Cherries in the Snow, they sold it door to door to drum up business. The latter are more pigmented (at least the shades I've tried), so you can get full opacity in a thin layer, but they feel about the same.

I’ve seen it, although not recently, and if I see it again I will snap it up as the colour does match the lip shade perfectly. I would also agree with the formula feeling similar to the Urban Decay Vice line, very smooth and comfortable to wear.

The formula is even and smooth, and it lasts on my lips reasonably well providing I don’t eat anything. Unlike our standard service, which generally only provides tracking up to the port of entry of the destination country. I might--MIGHT--put on some hardcore gloss over it if I'm wearing/doing something blingy, but it's not really necessary when the ordinary finish will suit nearly every occasion. The ad campaign featured Dorian Leigh, one of the first supermodels ever and also the rumored inspiration behind Breakfast at Tiffany's character Holly Golightly (Audrey Hepburn's character). If anything, I've found something better in lipstick, because no red has ever looked as good on me as Cherries in the Snow/Cherry Picking.
