About this deal

Master storyteller Susan Lewis blends emotional family drama, heart-stopping tension and nail-biting suspense' Reader review ? I found it soooo hard to get into the first half of the book had me so mad almost to the middle of the book that I either wanted to scream or throw it at the mirror in the bathroom, that being the only safe mirror because it can shatter into the basin! This story was very interesting, especially because the husband of one of my colleagues actually was “Riona”-like. The majority of the story revolves around Hanna, with occasional interspersions from an unknown character who seems to know an awful lot about Hanna and her family.

With realistic, well-constructed, though not necessarily likeable characters this is another winner from the pen of Susan Lewis. The pacing is steady and everything builds to an exciting conclusion in this tale of family relationships. It kept me very entertained and I whizzed through it so it gets a good rating, but would I recommend it? Don’t miss this utterly gripping and emotional thriller from Sunday Times bestselling author Susan Lewis! Following periods of living in Los Angeles and the South of France, she currently lives in Gloucestershire with her husband, James, and her dog, Mimi. DISCLOSURE: Thank you to Harper Collins UK, Harper Fiction, via Netgalley for providing a digital ARC of No One Saw It Coming by Susan Lewis for review.

The Maddens have a son, Leo and a daughter, Caitlin, and live in a seven bedroom Grade II Georgian property in the Chow Valley, near Bristol. After the reasoning behind Hanna and Jack's daughter, Cait, being a bratty adult child is revealed I liked her progression into a more mature adult. He was, at heart, a despicable man and yet I have little difficulty imagining how terrible his loss must be for Hanna.

But I persevered and it did have a good end and as the name of the says “No One Saw it Coming” , they sure didn’t.
